What We Do

OSU Circle K

The Circle K at the Ohio State University is our club’s greatest achievement. The Circle K Club was chartered in 1957, just two years after our Kiwanis Club was formed, and has maintained its charter since then. The club has ebbed and flowed in membership from the lean days of 15 or so to the soaring days of over 100 members. No matter its size, this club always continues to provide sound service, fellowship, and leadership for the campus and students. Visit for more information about the OSU Circle K Club.

OSU Circle K Scholarships- Fred Stewart and Edwin Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Our Kiwanis club annually distributes the OSU Circle K college scholarships. Funds are raised throughout the year for this scholarship. It is awarded at our annual Circle K, Kiwanis, and Circle K Alumni Society Recognition Event. Contact us to learn more.

Metro Early College High School Key Club

Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects and provides mentorships to the students. This Key Club is jointly sponsored by the Circle K Club at the Ohio State University. Chartered in 2024, we are excited to see of this group of young leaders can do for the OSU community.

Meals on Wheels

Weekly our Kiwanis Club partners with LifeCare Alliance to deliver Meals on Wheels. We deliver a Saturday route except on the second weekend of the month when we deliver on Sunday. This Sunday route is also covered partially by the OSU Circle K Club. Contact us to learn more.

Panera Bread Distribution to Neighborhood Service Inc Food Pantry

Weekly our Kiwanis Club picks up the leftover bread from the Panera Bread on Fishinger Rd, Hilliard and repacks it. Thursday morning the bread is dropped off at Neighborhood Services Inc. (NSI) on 4th St. This local food pantry distributes this and many other items to neighbors in the OSU community.

Rick Nini Pancake Breakfast

Twice annually, the club hosts a community pancake breakfast with all-you-care-to-eat plain, blueberry, chocolate, and pumpkin (fall only) pancakes. The breakfast is held from 8:30a-1:30p on a Sunday in the Spring and again in the Fall. Visit our website for dates and ticket information.

David A Thompson Memorial Golf Outing

Annually in June (usually the second Saturday), our club hosts a golf outing fundraiser. Visit our website for registration details. Proceeds from this event help to distribute scholarships for OSU Circle K students as well as funding service projects throughout the year.
